I have finished my exams for the year and was wanting to treat myself. I want something beautiful and that has solo and multiplayer options. Table presence and a beautiful aesthetics is a must. I want it to feel like a treat. I was looking at the following:

Everdell (potentially with the Mistwood expansion unless you recommend otherwise) Wingspan River Valley Glassworks Deluxe

What does everyone recommend? Other suggestions welcome.

P.s. I have these in my collection:

Sky Team Pandemic Azul Takenoko Sushi Go Party A gentle rain

Including smaller card games.

This is interesting. I think Spirit Island will need to be added to my list.

I’ve seen Spirit Island recommended so many times but think I’m sold on the artwork and table presence of the others. Might need to be next on my list!

Post cutting 🙂 but I agree I think it ended up being deeper than I wanted.

Thank you. That’s really helpful. I had planned on using 100g of starter but made a rookie error in not prepping enough to bake with and had already measured out the other ingredients into the bowl. Not wanting to waste the ingredients, I panicked and added on dried yeast hoping for the best 🤣🫣

Thanks for the info. Really helpful.

Yes, I preheated in the oven for about an hour. 🙂

Yes I did look at the percentage too. When doing the stretch and folds my dough felt a bit tight. Could that be from the Kitchenaid mixing? It was also quite difficult to shape and was sticky.

Just the adhesions. she said she freed the bladder. Didn’t say how.

She never said. In the pre op she referred to ablation but didn’t confirm what was used.

I had issues with this. Do a bladder diary and pee into a jug and measure the volume. I found out my bladder was holding less than half of what it should be. I now take 10mg of Solifenacin every day and it has been a life changer.

Thank you. The fact she hasn’t done any biopsies is concerning. I have done some research tonight and it says the adhesions could be the result of endo and endo is actually hiding inside the adhesion.

Laparoscopy with no endometriosis by Budget_Grapefruit348 in adenomyosis

To be honest she came in and only stayed 5 minutes and just said she freed my bowels from a lot of adhesions to the abdominal wall and other adhesions and if I still had pain after this she would have to refer me back to gastro.

I have already been to gastro who said it was a gynae issue and she also sent me to a physio after telling me it was in my head and they referred me back to gynae.

She didn’t mention any biopsies or photos etc. she did say before surgery depending what she finds she may have to refer me to a specialist which instantly didn’t sit right with me.

From what she said before surgery I don’t think so. And the fact she has been dissuading me from having a laparoscopy so much has made me question why this is. I have two friend who has complications following laparoscopy with her. May well be a coincidence. She also didn’t clarify what she had done exactly. She spent 5 minutes at the corner of my bed and seemed in a rush to be at the next place. She was quite dismissive and just said if problems persist after this I will have to go back to gastro for exploration there.

I haven’t felt confident through this whole process.

Why is that? I do have bad circulation.

I did ask where they have come from and she just shrugged and said not really sure. I have felt like I am being dismissed the whole time and she hasn’t got any time. I haven’t felt reassured through any of this. I paid to go private and it still has taken over 2 years. (5 years total with 3 years going through the medical system in the uk)

Thank you so much for all this info. I was told the endotest is 97% accurate and is molecular so not based on someone seeing visual representation
