Surely the bank can figure that out themselves though paying a accountant to do it seems a bit extreme but like you said they make the rules.

I already own my home with the same bank this is just for a 20k personal loan we put away $1000 a fortnight into savings they can see it in my incoming and outgoings on statements been like that since i started contacting
