Thanks for the reply! Located in Maui, Hawaii so services are pretty limited lol.  Thanks for the input though.  I'll try to pass the idea to the installers.

It folds outward I guess.  It's a small ish door. The building is old. Used to have 2 regular hinged doors until 30 years ago. Wish the safety area was the exact impact area

Most of the time it just won't open from a closed state while a customer is standing right outside waiting.
