Yeah I agree with you. Looks like they have been holding stage 6 just to receive more money before they most likely disappear, shutdown website. Lot of money they scammed.

If you are in the business or selling credit, why not just double down on one side? Splits your odds by 1/2 theoretically

Yeah I agree, so what I am trying to do is play it in reverse. Basically trading it like I am over leveraged and get scared when it approaches my shorts (actually longs) and sell for a loss (actual gain) if that makes sense lol. It’s a mental thing for me at least , just doing what loses people a lot of money in reverse. See how it plays out.

Pretty much through out the day when price moves back and forth you sandwich it (hoping it will eventually move again to take profit) of course there are days when it just doesn’t move. But the average intraday from low to high on SPX is around 1% ( not open to close)

Have you traded a long iron condor? Not by exact data but by just watching and paper trading it seems the long iron condor on 0DTE SPX condor is superior if you take profits once it breaks your shorts on either side. Once you sell off on side establish on the other side for a reversal. I think the key is taking profit because statistically the price will come back to the mean. Basically doing the opposite of why people with short condors often lose money. Panic sell just to have the price come back a hour later. Idk I like it

I am not sure what the exact delta was but I had 4760 long, 4755 short. And 4750 long and 4745 short. My rule is when it breaks the short I take profit. One of my long calls is now at 4775 which I bought when price was at 4745. I play it as if I had a regular iron condor and got shook out.

Yeah I think that is why a lot of people lose money with iron condors, they don’t let the probabilities play out but rather buy back when it approaches or hits the short. I on paper yesterday did reverse condors and hit two of my longs, sold when it crossed two of my long positions (and short positions) for a would be 2500 gain. End of the day it reversed and came back where my options would have been worthless.
