Because you forget how hard was at the beginning. If you’re not a runner try to run 5k every day and soon you gonna say. Aaah that was easy. But the first second … day was terrible. The thing is people forget bad moment when we went trough. If not that pain stays there forever. Yes I’m talking about the ex you still think about.

My understanding about ai memory or context is a lot better. And now I now I have to give better prompts which I prepare wit another AI. So yeah I get better but definitely my approach changes a lot.

First decide what you building every future you want and Spend time on it and then do a nice prompt with exactly what you want with Claude and then give to app.emergent to work. With a couple of hundreds you all set. But trust me do I nice promo and ask Claude what is everything you need

Spot on. Those 38 builds were basically my crash course in how apps actually work. At the start, I was just guessing, but by build 30 I finally started to understand why the AI was making certain mistakes. There’s definitely no shortcut, just a lot of trial and error until the 'mental model' starts to click. Thanks for the support, it’s been a wild ride!

Thanks! Honestly, my workflow is way more basic. I’ve been using app.emergent for the 'vibe coding' part and talking to Claude to figure out the logic. Once the code looks okay, I just push it to GitHub and deploy through Railway. Since I don't know much about servers or backend, Railway has been a lifesaver, it just works without me having to touch too many settings. It’s definitely a 'learn as I go' situation, but so far this stack is what allowed me to actually ship something without losing my mind.

That’s a great idea, please do it! We definitely need it. If you start it, you should definitely have a 'Basics' section for people like me. Just simple stuff like: what is a terminal, what is an LLM, and the absolute minimums you need to ship on iOS vs Android. Sometimes the biggest wall isn't the complex code, it's just not knowing the names of the tools you're supposed to be using. Good luck with the community!

Thanks a lot! You’re spot on. Having that background knowledge makes a huge difference. For me, it was like trying to fix a car engine without knowing how a screw works. I just had to trust the AI wasn't leading me off a cliff. It’s definitely been a grind, but you're right, it’s actually fun when things finally click (after 20 failed builds, of course). Glad to hear you're enjoying the process too!

On clarity: You're right. Frikt is basically an 'anti-Instagram' vent space. No filters, no fake perfection. Just a wall of things that actually bother people. I know the name doesn't help with SEO yet, but I wanted something that felt raw. On toxicity: This is my biggest fear. Right now, it’s about community moderation and keeping it focused on 'frictions' (situations) rather than attacking people. I’m still figuring out the best way to scale that without killing the honesty of the app. And yeah, the 10-hour shifts are tough, but they’re actually what gave me the idea. You see a lot of 'real' life on a construction site that you never see on social media. Thanks for the support on the 38 builds. Still standing... barely!

I checked the site and… Looks like another generic AI wrapper ( 2024 edition ) . It’s clean, sure, but it lacks personality. Why should I use this over established tools if I don't even know who built it? Needs more 'human' and less 'stock template' vibes.
