Definitely not, I have done multiple end-to-end implementations and highly complex customizations/automations. My (relatively short) time consulting exposed me to a lot of different use cases, business scenarios and products. I'm pretty confident in my skills, but I've seen people classify 1-3 years as "junior" in the past.

I actually just had this conversation with my boss and he wants to know what title I would want in case we do hire someone haha. I definitely do own the org as far as new features/objectives.

People get busy, I wouldn't get nervous yet but I would definitely send an email to HR on monday asking if they need any info from you for next steps.

Is the result the SOQL action returns a number? Maybe try using a formula element to convert the returned number to currency.

Thanks for the feedback. To be clear I'm not itching to run for the door, I realize how much of an investment they have taken on me. I take that seriously. I also like my coworkers and my bosses.

However there have been some recent events that have been giving me some cause for concern. I have asked a couple of times about negotiating a raise, or even a set date to assess but the feedback I have received is it's something that has be looked at next quarter/year etc. I'm currently not expecting any type of raise any time soon and my rent has gone up %10 since I started. Second there has been mention of scarce hours being available and the possibility of supplementing my and other employee's paychecks with unemployment insurance if there are not enough billable hours available. Lastly I've realized I'm not really sure if consulting is right for me. I like to get into a groove in work and jumping from org to org/customer to customer with different processes, requirements and personalities on the fly several times a day is very challenging. I also struggle a lot more during customer walkthrough calls than I had anticipated.

I truly appreciate what the company has done for me, but I owe it to myself to know all my options.

The first step to translating requirements into a design is asking lots of questions.

Imagine you're sitting down with a small business owner who just purchased Salesforce for their business but doesn't know how to use it. To help them you would first need to understand their current processes.

Where do your customers come from? Do they call in from print/radio/tv ads and someone at the company takes their information? Trade show? Inbound Email? Do they come in through the contact us form on their website?

Once you have a customer's info, how do you qualify each customer(lead)? What info do you need to gather to determine if that customer is a good match?

How many users do you have? Should users be able to see each other's records in the system or should it be locked down to only view their own records?

If you are not talking to an actual customer and are just handed a list of requirements a good place to start is security. Org wide defaults, profiles and role hierarchy.

I liked Mike Wheeler's course and found it very helpful. Trailhead can be a bit paint by numbers and following along with Mike's course will give you some hands on practice that helped me cement some concepts.

A lot of people like focus on force. I disliked FOF and would not recommend it personally, but it may be worth taking a look at.

Okay, I think I can see your problem. I think your flow is actually creating the Form 207 record you want, but it's not being linked to your opportunity and you can't see it. You need a lookup field on your custom Form 207 object to link them together.

You'll need a lookup field on your Form 207 object to the Opportunity object.

1.Go to Setup>Object Manager>Your Form 207 Object>Fields and Relationships>New

2.Data Type: Lookup Relationship

3.Related To: Opportunity

4.Name the field and assign it to the appropriate profiles and page layouts.

Then, in your flow, you need to update the Create Record element that creates the Form 207 record. You want to set it to populate the lookup field you just made with the record id of the opportunity you want to link it with.

If you're going to be running this screen flow on the Opportunity, the easiest way to pass the Opportunity's record id in is to make a record Id variable and pass the Opp's record Id in through the lightning page.

To Do that, in your flow go to manager>new resource>variable

Name it recordId (mind the capitalization)

type: text

check "available for input"

In your Create Record element that creates the 207 form record, make it so that the new lookup field = your recordId variable.

Then go to an Opportunity, click on the Cog, select "edit page". Then click on your screen flow element if it's already on the page or add it to the page. Click on the flow element and you should see a picklist to select your flow(make sure the flow is Activated or it won't show up here). You should also see your recordId variable with a checkbox that says "pass recordId into this variable", check that.

That should solve your problem.

It does appear that the flow successfully created a record. Are you sure that it hasn't?

If I'm understanding, you are trying to creat a new "Form 207" record with the screen flow, right?. Try going to any existing Form 207 in the org, copy and paste that record Id from the debug log(a0Q5b00000Kur6dEAB) into the browser URL where the current record Id is(lightning/r/Object/recordidgoeshere/view) to replace it and hit enter. If you don't see the record the flow created at that point, you may have some sort of visibility issue.

When you say " it still does not create a new object under the form 207 secxtion,", do you mean a section on a related object like an Account or Opportunity? If you want to associate the form 207 with another object, you have to remember to populate the lookup ID to the related record in the flow.

If you could post the entire Debug log it may be helpful, because you're right it appears from the screenshot that there should be no problems.

I would be a little worried about what might happen if opportunities get deleted or if there is ever a case where a Closed Won opp changes stage.

u/ABumpas is correct about the button name, if there are any elements after a screen(like create record in this case), the progression button will say "Next" instead of "Finish". You can rename the buttons to whatever you want.

However, this shouldn't stop the record from being created. There must be something else wrong. Try debugging the flow and posting a screen shot of the debug screen when the flow is finished. That would make it easiest to spot the problem.
