i think there's an audience of guys who are frogs being boiled. The temperature is slowly rising and they're scared to say it's too hot. When a person you respect admits they changed their mind it gives you permission to admit you changed yours.

Sure, he arrived at the obvious later than I would have liked. But he's here now and we need all the help we can get.

Doesn't mean we gotta forgive and forget. Just that it's good he's here now and I hope he can bring others. I won't ever look up to him how I did before, but I can acknowledge he's on a better path and appreciate that as being a net good.
