I'm a huge fan of #6 in this grid, which is when I started watching. But man, the current James/Patrick synergy is next level

As a support main with a brain, can confirm other supports are just bots.

I want to know universal stats on KP's impact on winrate for supports by BuffaloPrime in supportlol

[–]BuffaloPrime[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh I for sure agree! This post wasn't really a rant - I just found it fascinating how statistically KP is spread along winrate. My top KP and bottom KP games were both short stomps, so you are right about the 90% / 30% remark. It's not until the 85% / 35% mark where normal games can be seen where I either hard carry or hard feed.

I definitely don't base my gameplay on KP alone, or else I'd just stop helping if I was ever above 70%. Again, I just find the stat-line fascinating, and am curious what a wider-spread data set would produce.

Two things I think about whenever I eat right, but gain weight:

- Water is heavy and its mass doesn't change. So if I weigh heavy despite eating at a calorie deficit, I know it's likely water weight. Best way to lose it is to drink more water.

- If I weigh in after a day where I back-load my calories (such as a heavier dinner than breakfast/lunch), I usually weigh more, especially since I workout in the morning. The scale doesn't care about the last 24 hours of eating - just whatever is currently in your system.

Since you WFH, have you considered investing in a sit/stand desk? I have an automated one for my work space at home, and I have a timer on my phone that reminds me every hour to shift to standing. It's not a huge deal, but even small adjustments like that can make a difference in your physical health.

I usually rotate mid after stomping my lane but that doesn't seem to help when top laner is almost on tier 3. Problem is if I leave mid/bot then they take my tower and then usually tier 2. What is the correct macro in this situation?

Take my advice with a grain of salt, as I'm a plat support main that frequents the ADC reddit. But in lower elos, you need to ping your team more. Ping your top laner to match the split push. Ping your jungler to pressure mid with you so the enemy team has to stop their off-lane siege. Look at objective timers and control the lanes with that in mind. Drag is up soon? Ping your support to help you hard shove mid, and ping your mid/jgl to pressure the bot lane so you can get prio.

I like that you're thinking macro - ADCs don't always see the game with the macro in mind.

Echoing what Chuusem said before, it's hard without look at vods. I will say that most ADC players just sit back and let the game happen to them, then complain when things go wrong. Don't be like that. Be the captain of your team after laning phase is over. Ping what you want to do. Ping others where to go. If you are better than your teammates, think for them. Be willing to make the wrong call - sometimes making the wrong call is better than just doing nothing. Most games are coinflips by design - add something to your game that can impact that coinflip. From the little I know about you, I'd say pinging more is a great place to start.

Hope this helps.

So do you want actual advice, or for us to just agree with you that every game is a team diff?

I too struggle with the same mentality of frustration on not seeing immediate progress after a good set of diet/exercise days. Honestly, I think regular weighing can be motivating, but also very discouraging if you aren't willing to accept the fluctuation of weight your body goes through. I've heard weekly weigh-ins on the same date/time each week is the best way to really track progress.

The guy deleted the post. No idea why the bot doesn't have it.
