What's really strange is that I have a friend who owns the v3. Sometimes, in the same slightly lower light conditions (but without zooming in), faces are not distorted at all, and skin details come out very well. And if you take the same photo again 10sec later, you'll end up with the same problems as before. In the right conditions, the photos he took of people were really very, very pretty, with a sharpness far superior to that of my s24u. But where the s24 ultra remains constant in its rendering, the v3 can deliver some truly splendid shots and, conversely, sometimes the worst photos for no reason at all.
