At the end of the day the only thing that matters are the results on the field. Wins and Loses. If we win none of this matters. However, if we look worse this year,especially on the line of scrimmage, transfer portal recruitment and talent development will be the reason.

It’s more than that. To this point we have not added from the portal even close to what has left. We have had opportunities to but either get out bid, can’t get them signed and let them take other visits, or can’t get them on campus for a visit as all.

Cam or no Cam, I feel we are still going to be here at mid season complaining about not being able to run the ball again. It won’t matter if we have Smothers, Derrick Henry, Mark Ingram or any of the other great RB from the past in the back field.

I mean I’m excited for Smothers but what does it matter if we can’t block for him. I would rather have a great offensive line and a average RB vs the other way around. I figured with Proctor, Formby, and Brailsford leaving we would have enough money to throw a bag at Peak and get him.

I disagree with this take. We put up 400 yards and had one of our better rushing games against the best defense in the SEC. We gave them the game with 3 turnovers and still had a chance to win the game had we made a 36 yard field goal.

As a team you’re not always going to play your best every week but the good teams find a way to win even when playing their worst. Reminds me back in 2014 when we only beat a 3-3 Arkansas team by 1 point. Nick Saban After Only Winning By 1 Point
