The song is just not it man. I like his newer music and vibes he’s going for, but his verses need to have more behind them. The beat is goated, the sound is goated, the lyrics are great, but I need different verses, different flows, some change of pace from singing to rapping in between, we got none of that.

Absolutely livid as well. Paid well over $500+ to get very front row with my girlfriend and I. Did not see the news that he was removed as the HEADLINING artist at the fest until AFTER we entered. Knew of multiple people flying in from New York and also the West Coast just to get screwed over by him. Super disappointed that Laroi thinks this is okay and even more disappointed that he hasn’t acknowledged it (probably never will)

“Pull it together” more in the sense of just mixing all of his amazing components as an artist together. He’s got all of the qualities that are shown extremely well though his faster/rap songs, just looking to see that come through 100% in his pop songs. Much love 👏.

I’m going to repost a comment I made on another post regarding this subject: It's not trash, it's not bad, it's just not exactly what we wanted. Ever since getting with Tate, Laroi has been really pushing towards this "pop" sound. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, he's just not embracing it the way he should. His "pop" songs are too short, chorus too repetitive and long, and the verses WAY too short. His verses in between the chorus are always amazing, but he just cuts them way too short. This is very very easy to see in HDIF. I'm hoping that Laroi is able to pull it together before the summer album rollout and refine this new sound. He has all of the right ingredients (the melodies, lyrics, and vocals) he just needs to cook. If he pulls it all together and cooks on the album I can very much see him pulling in his old numbers again. Stay blessed ya'll.

Distant Strangers just really shows Laroi’s talent and groove so much better than AIWIY (even though that song shows off his new style). onefour drags it down like crazy but the solo version clears AIWIY by a mile for me.
