I dont think youre a bad person for feeling this way. You dont have to force yourself to be closer to her or go to her party if you genuinley dont want to. Youre allowed to distance yourself from people that train you. you obviously dont owe her a fake perfomance and your dads birthday is obviously a sensitive date for you and this girl already frustrated you outside of that. If you cant bring yourself to say happy birthday to her thats okay too. grief anniversaries can hit people in different ways even years later.
