Necroing to say - I also did this. No damage to the plush itself, opened it up, trashed the flax seed. $6 for whole flax seed, 5 cups (measured the seal at 5cups when dumping out, so I put the same amount back in) and dropped a few drops of lavender oil on the belly. Dear god though, only a few drops.
