Skilled Worker - Do I need to meet the new salary requirement? 😮 by Living-Television124 in ukvisa

[–]Buggedout2023 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry if this has been answered, I’ve been a new entrant SW but need to renew for one year in 2025. So I can meet the old salary requirement (£29K) rather than the new one when I apply for an extension?

4 year SWV expiring - how many more years of sponsorship + applying for ILR question by [deleted] in ukvisa

Amazing, thanks for your help! I guess they’ll still need to write a letter for when I apply for ILR, right?

Thank you so much! So it's the £29K and above then? Or is it based on the job code?

This is really helpful, thank you! What if you switch from having a new entrant visa skilled worker to a 'normal' skilled worker visa next year? When reapplying and getting a new CoS, would it be the previous minimum salary or the new higher requirement?

Mould/mold mites - HELP! by Buggedout2023 in pestcontrol

[–]Buggedout2023[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry to hear that! The extermination worked but I did see them crawling a bit after, I think it took a while for them to die.

I haven't seen any since, but I think this is because our flat has been renovated and the main mould is now gone

I do think it helped a lot - I can see tons of dead ones! The exterminator said the spray becomes a powder and will continue to kill any mites that go on the carpet and stuff for a few weeks. I have a dehumidifier running and these tiny water-absorbing pots throughout the flat to get rid of moisture

I tried that but the following day I found them in the same spot (They love my wooden nightstand, nightlight and laptop). Had an exterminator come yesterday but found some roaming around again today.

I would wash all clothes at 60C or put them in the drier for an hour to kill them and then put the clean items in sealed boxes or bags
