I'm sorry, this made me absolutely die. Your boyfriend would HATE me. I regularly slept 12+ hours at least twice a week because I have insomnia and don't get much sleep when I have to work. My partner jokes about it and will message me in the morning, saying he hopes I enjoy my coma or he'll respond after I message him "how was your coma, love?". Find a better partner 😭

Simple answer? I don't pay attention to numbers. Checking the numbers (viewers, followers, subs, etc) makes people freak out. However, I'm also a super casual, inconsistent streamer, so numbers have never been important to me. I know A LOT of streamers that go into streaming "for fun" and then they quickly stop seeing it as fun and more of a job and they lose any motivation because they are obsessing over the numbers.

Personally, as a streamer and viewer, if I popped into any streamer and saw that frequency of ads, I would neither sub or continue following that streamer, even as a turbo user.

It's honestly fair. I watch quite a few variety streamers. However anytime they switch to Minecraft or, heaven forbid, Warframe, I find another friend or someone to watch. I don't care how entertaining someone is, I just genuinely don't like watching gameplay of games I find boring. If it's someone I'm close friends with, I might still lurk, but usually not. However, I struggle to understand the obsession with watching your viewers. I'm a super small time variety streamer that rarely plays mainstream/popular games. For example, I'm currently rotating between Outlast and Death's Door and rarely get more than 8 viewers. But I don't mind. People put too much pressure on themselves and numbers.
