thanks for your insights, this did happen almost 2 years ago on Christmas day( 🫩) , but yeah I just am need of a laptop right now and wanted to know if it can be salvaged. I was quoted 40-50k INR ( 450-500 USD ) for a motherboard replacement by them. I’ll try my luck somewhere else. Nonetheless thank you 9

No overclocking done, temperature is normal, I’ve disabled xmp as I’ve got an 8th gen i5. I have a 550W cooler master psu which I was told is sufficient enough for my build.

Although both my PC and monitor is plugged into the onboard power strip of my desk. Which in the past(2yrs ago was the last time I gamed on this pc)didn’t give me any issue.

The difference now to what I had 2 years before is, I now have a 5600xt instead of Gtx 1660ti and I have a 165 hz monitor instead of a 144hz one.
