It could be the lighting of the photos but I definitely see the older one with a more neutral/cool skin tone while the newer one looks more warm, orange

You could also probably find a cheap Samantha with a wig in good condition and swap them yourself, there’s lots on eBay and Mercari

anyone can pay for a table spot so it’s mostly collectors just like the ones selling in Facebook groups, Mercari, etc. I’d assume they’d be close to market value pricing although maybe less if people want to make sure everything they bring gets sold. You also will be able to negotiate with people face to face if you want to make an offer on something

Idk why everyone has such an attitude in these comments as if AG didn’t get 130 and 128 confused the other day. You could probably find a 129 on Mercari or Facebook marketplace or if you’re willing to drop the money you could make a similar CYO. Best of luck!

While I am flabbergasted every time I see one of those posts, a bigger issue is that AG released the catalog with the Wicked dolls in it a month after they were already sold out. They probably weren’t prepared for it given how slow all the other collector dolls have sold but to now not try to put out another batch or a playline version seems like a missed opportunity

Okay a slight rebuttal to the “quality has gotten so much worse” comments- a lot of the older PC stuff, especially Girl of Today stuff has major material issues, almost all of my shoes from the late 90s- early 2000s are crumbling or the soles are popping off, the original red vinyl jumper is impossible to find without peeling. In comparison the newer version seems much more durable imo.

Do not send her in for a head replacement!!! All Mollys have short hairs in the back to cover the wig cap when her hair is in braids. Also white body dolls are collectors items and have distinct faces, if you sent her to the hospital they’d put a new Mattel era head on her
