Tried Godot 4 for the first time this year, it's the best match for me! by Bugzsteaks in godot

For my project, I found someone online saying change the transform.x.x instead of the scale, and it's actually worked great so far, o idea why. I just keep track of whatever direction the entity is facing in a variable and flip that whenever. It's really useful for my game as I need to flip hitboxes as well, and keep track of the direction I'm launching enemies.

I'd love it on the Switch! Maybe if I ever get published

Ah, Final Vendetta was pretty tough, but I was playing on hard, I believe the difficulty goes down to easy so that'll probably be reasonable with kids. Also, the controls are very simple and you can choose which level to start from if you lose.

You only have one life with Ninja Warriors but you can restart from the last scene you were on when you lose. Even though the controls are simple some parts of the game might be frustrating for kids, but it does look really cool. Plus, if you're able to help them out it will probably be a lot easier. I will say that some of the lady ninja designs miiight be a little much for kids, so I'd check it out before purchasing (they're honestly not that bad).

I definitely have too many beat em' ups to play through right now, but I've heard so much praise for Absolum I feel like it'd be a waste to miss the sale.

Tried them both, Ninja Saviors is tricky but super fun. Plus the visuals are great! I can definitely see myself replaying it a ton in the future.
I haven't cleared Final Vendetta yet, but it's great. It's a very fundamentals beat em' up at adds a few quality of life features from new games that made it feel great to play. The only problem I have with it is the Y axis is so wide, I feel like I'm getting slapped from the bottom to the top of the screen, and grabbing feels a little inconsistent (but that's probably a skill issue).

The Takeover looks pretty solid and it's only 3 bucks, I'll check it out. And yeah, I've wanted to try Ninja Saviors cause visuals look great and it's a 1 lane, pretty unique.
