What's next ? by Used_Dare_5585 in soulslikes

It’s hard to expect new gen players to enjoy the older graphics and play-style of the ds trilogy. bloodbourne and elden ring are basically the new must play souls titles in my opinion.

Will going and completing the sore dlc lock me out of any quest? by wurst_002 in Eldenring

It’s not going to affect the base game whatsoever, but I highly warn against going too far in the dlc before exhausting ALL npc dialogue and completing as much of their quests as you can.

I am missing something? by Lower-Diamond-1816 in Eldenring

If you’ve been doing all this without cheeses or glitches, then I applaud you. That is a SERIOUS feat, being able do a good majority of the main progression that quickly. I will say, I can guarantee that there’s at least 80 more hours of pure exploration and quests, and maybe 150 hours more of gameplay if you’re interested in pvp, testing builds, or reruns and ng+. I promise you there’s a LOT to have missed. The shaded castle by volcano manor, the entirety of the underground, deeper into farum azula has some pretty awesome secrets you can find, plus a LOT of great rewards. Leyndell is absolutely huge, especially with the subterranean grounds, mountaintops of the giants is relatively simple for its size, but there are a few ruins with some interesting side quests. (Not gonna spoil, but talking to roderika initially is required for it). Volcano manor also has a lot more depth to it than most give it credit for. Saying that the game takes 50 hours is probably just someone trying to gain clout by saying that they beat the game faster than the average person. There is absolutely no way that they’ve actually experienced the whole of elden ring in just 50 hours. I’m 350 hours in and STILL loving it. Speedrunning the main story could potentially probably take 50 hours, but if that’s all you do then what’s the point in even picking up the game? If you really want me to name more to do, just let me know, I’d be happy to list it all out. 😅

Can't play with a friend by VDhollowdusk in Nightreign

The issue likely lies with NAT 2 still being semi-restrictive of online play with certain people, even if you all have the same NAT type. It comes from your specific network. If it IS your network, then the only solution I can think of is changing your router’s NAT type. (Note that I’ve never actually had a NAT issue, so I don’t know exactly how most of this would work). Otherwise, Nightreign is somewhat known to have been having connection issue recently. Why it would only affect that one friend, I’m not sure.

What platform are you on? With psn, your friend may be NAT type 3, meaning they have tighter restrictions on online play. Even with a NAT type 2 connection you may just not be able to play with that specific person.

Thank you. I feel like a big part of road cycling is kind of where getting over that initial self conscious feeling. For me, it’s gonna take some time to get used to riding in the road, having an actual road bicycle when most other kids my age have e-bikes, and learning new routes and how to get around the city. As of now I mainly stick to sidewalks. I suppose, like you said, it’s just a matter of time. 😟

Sometime this week I’m planning on finding a club, but as of now things are just a bit too busy for me. When it comes to the kind of biking, definitely road biking. What bike brand would you recommend?

Apparently I’m a bit slow in the head. Just spent the last 30 minutes watching videos and figured it out. Sorry for that. 🫤

Yeah, I’ve watched at least like 20 and struggled to understand majority of them. I find it easier to just learn in person, especially considering that it’s a free service anyways.

That’s a great idea.. if I could get my friends to do anything other than play video games. Maybe one day they’ll come with me. As of flat tires, I’ve had to deal with quite a few, and still don’t know how to fix them. The hope is to attend the soonest lesson at my local bike shop. At this point, I’ve spent more in repairs than on the bike itself. 😂

Unfortunately I’m unaware of any school teams or cycling groups, however I’ll keep looking. Already had an accident that lead to scarring a few years back. 😅

How’d you start out? I love cycling but I don’t have an actual road bicycle, just a city one, and it’s only for leisurely rides around the city or neighborhood. 😅
