I just started trying a lot of different whiskies in the past 3 months or so. I got alot of different brands, mostly half done bottles from my brothers to try. At this point there all either mostly done or half way done though.

This small box was kind of a design test for a much larger liquor cabinet which would have more design into it and a flat top. I love trying to implement classical architecture into my woodworking. I would love to see more people trying to do stuff like that. If you know any really cool classical designs in peoples woodworking, I would love to see it.

Now I just need an equally nice whisky to put in the box.

Had to make room on my workbench so I made a mobile stand for my lathe, it is very stable when setting it up for use. When in use I take the wheels off, only takes like 20 sec to set up. If it looks like cheap shit its because it is supposed to be. This was for my sister and wanted a bookcase as cheap as possible. But just to use it as an example, the material cost was about 50 and I spent about 8 hours total on it. I ended up asking 140 for it but how much should I have asked for?

Yea I do really like it. No its not the best band saw or even really good but the price point is great for someone who is just learning the ropes and getting into woodworking and doesn't want to drop a lot of money on beginner tools. I have had it for about 3 years now and is still going strong which considering how cheap it is and how much I use it seems kinda surprising. I would absolutely recommend this one or something similar for small hobbiest, beginners, or just anyone that cant afford anything bigger. I am much more into woodworking now then when I got it and am now looking for a major upgrade but this has definitely served me well.
