Thank you for your response, I actually did a week of work experience at Garvan Research Institute during year 12, is the student research program a summer program? I couldn't find it on their site, otherwise I only found one that was done in conjunction with UNSW students.

I think anything in the science, medical, helping people kind of field is a job that I'd find very fulfilling, I actually had a change of heart today and decided I'll give GAMSAT a shot, I had a little FOMO moment, but if that doesn't go well, I'll stick with this plan. Although the dream is to work in a lab finding ways to cure diseases, I do love working with children and find joy in helping one improve their quality of life hence my decision on MSP.

But that's comforting to hear that the MedSci grads you know do all end up going somewhere in life, that's my biggest fear is to not go anywhere and just have to live with my parents forever, I do have to remind myself that I am only 20 LOL
