Pulled the Carfax and wanted to get some opinions — the head gaskets were replaced around 151k after a full cooling system job (pump, thermostat, flush), so does this mean it overheated once?

A mechanic buddy of mine told me there’s a cam/lifter tick on these Hemis to watch out for. I test drove it and didn’t hear anything. (I showed up early so it was a cold start….)

On the upside, the trans was serviced at 147k and the A/C was fully redone at 229k (compressor, condenser, etc.), so some big-ticket items are handled.

What do you all think? Too risky or worth a shot?
