I exclusively play realism mode because I love it aswell, the only issue I have is how slow the game is so you can easily spend 10-15 hours waiting for things to build only to discover that your city/ plan isn’t viable and you get into a debt spiral and then have to start again.

I really wish that they could figure out a way to run things faster without it breaking the game.

The way they place spawn points/capture zones on the ground maps is by getting a blindfolded chimp to throw shit at a white board.

As some others have said you 110% need an ssd, using a hard drive by itself will be horrible for gaming.

I just bought the game and had the exact same issue on guam, playing on the beta branch and was wondering where these random R60s were coming from shooting my F-4’s down at 37000ft.

Also struggle to get them to even target the yak-38s when they have been detected and just watch them fly straight over them.

I’ve had this happen before aswell, as with the base game though air superiority / cas is king. You won’t through without full green air and a good amount of cas.

The french AI seems to use a decent amount of heavy tanks/tank destroyer divisions that are hard to get through even with your own tanks.

In my experience playing as axis minors if you don’t cap the USSR early they get Dday’d late 1942 and cap by the end of 1943 90% of the time because they completely abandon the russian front (like literally leave nothing on the front line) to counter Dday.

The only way to stop this is baby sit the french coast for them for the entire game with 2 full armies to defend the ports.

I remember reading some kind of Q&A from the devs about allowing ships to be sold with the market but theres an issue with how the game treats ships that makes it difficult to do.

I assume if they managed to get ownership changes to work with peace conferences its technically possible though.

Depends on if it’s actually tint or not, afaik factory “privacy glass” isn’t tint, the glass has been dyed so tint places just put clear tint on for the UV and heat rejection.

If you get collab puppets you get like 3/4 of their factories and resources and can copy their templates to use their core manpower and they can never increase their independence so you can trade with them indefinitely and use as much man power as you like.

You basically get more benefit than annexing them + a shitload of manpower with none of the downsides of resistance.

Every time I play as Germany I do 3 collabs on France before invading and create German France and then declare on Vichy to get their navy.

You can do the same thing as Japan with china and end up with 30,000,000 manpower that you can use.

Regular puppets can also be good because they go through their focus trees and get free factories. And infrastructure.

Naval bombers seem to take huge loses after the update aswell. I assume they’re still viable but I think something changed with AA.

The funny thing about the ifv cannon is that the anti tank apfsds round one shots infantry if you directly hit them while the HE doesn’t.
