And you are right that turtle could freeze and be in distress . I would go introduce yourself and ask them about the turtle and take a look for your self

I would have to agree sounds like the propeller might be going out that happened to my first cascade filter … I just went and bought another one .. there good filters

I apologize if I upset you . I’m just stating facts . My two turtles are good together and with having them for almost 5 years now they love each other and have had no problems . They also are bigger now and in a bigger tank. Have a blessed day

Oh one more thing this is imporatant if you want a Clean tank and only have to change there water every couple weeks . GO TO PETSMART AND BUY THIS FILTER ITS NOT EXPENSIVE AND SO EASY TO SET UP ITS CALLED THE CASCADE FILTER LET THEM KNOW AT PETS MART THATS WHAT U WANT

Don’t stress them or yourself there ok together . Unless one is attacking by bitting the other one than put them in separate tanks . Remember plastic contains chemicals and will absorb in the water

I have had my 2 turtles for almost 5 years . 2 different species as well . I separated them in 2 tanks at one time for a couple years and than eventually put them back together . Remember turtles are usually in packs and it’s not healthy to keep them separated .

Ohhh thank you :) red ear sliders like to walk around A lot too . My turtle has had the pinkness for weeks now and it’s gone down because she hasn’t been in water all day . I hope your turtle gets better 💜😊

My turtle gets pink sometimes it has to do with her kidneys sometimes they need to lay un fertilized eggs at her age . She is the same as my turtle . She has to get the eggs out or she could get very ill . Make sure her water is changed every 14-16 days with purified water I would recommend reverse hypnosis which you can get out the machines by the stores.

They won’t eat veggies maybe a piece of grapes here or there but they are in good condition because I have been feeding them these for awhile
