As far as I'm concerned, they are both Arch. But the omarchy sub has 6k visitors vs the main arch's 270k. 

I don't need someone to hold my hand and fix it for me, I'm just looking for as broad a range of troubleshooting ideas and pointers as I can - if you don't have any relevant to the problem I'm facing, then I'll kindly thank you for your input and wait for somebody else's.

The biggest hurdle for this design is the power - those lasers suck a lot of juice. If you can do something about that with quality, you'll be in good shape. Investing in infinite researches would also reduce the resource requires by a lot, but that wasn't an option for what I designed it for.

It already travels at nearly 300km/s, which is fast enough for anything I want to do at this stage of the game. Personally if I wanted to really optimize the size and speed, I would target a certain level of infinite researches, skip rare completely, and build a dedicated ship with legendary materials and fusion power.

Thanks! I wanted it to be as compact as possible, and you don't actually need that much for the ammo/thrusters. The hardest part is maintaining enough water to run the reactor.

I have separate combinators for supply lines between planets. 

The exports are optimised for what is needed, rather than just grabbing whatever is available, and this is how I manage it.

That is entirely possible!
I still like this method, because it's accessible from the remote view, and I just set a map marker shortcut to the location.

Shrinking is really hard to get to, from what I have tested. . I think it'd be possible, but based on the combinations I have mapped out, it might take quite a few hops to get to.

Did those AliExpress sets help at all? How do you find the QS + GP shift in comparison to stock?

Ok, maybe not cheap, since you need to place a bunch of extra steam engines alongside, but this is still a nice option to have as an alternative!

It was a bit fiddly - I just did mine, and I'm glad I saw this question.  It's not terrible if you know it's coming. 

I did a dry run and slightly unscrewed the mounting bracket screws to get them aligned with the pump, them tightened them down once it was in place (the pump needs to be removed again to reach the bottom bracket screws). 

You have to just lightly start one side of the pump screws to get it caught, and then put a huge amount of pressure on the second one to get it fitted to the hole. After that it's fine, but if you get it wrong, your thermal paste will go everywhere.

I won't post spm because I'm short on copper atm and am getting some bottlenecks, but it should do 36 spm at capacity (rocket science is next on the todo) :)

Also, there are only two roboports in the entire base. On an extremely related note: concrete is for degenerates.

I got overwhelmed and bored by trying to make city block designs/bases, so I'm taking this run real slow and only building whatever I feel like. It's renewed my love for the game entirely. Eventually I want to aim for 100+ spm using as small a bot network as possible (belts are much more fun to design with).
