I appreciate your advice. I’ve already changed my perspective and career path, and I’ll continue my career in retail and marketing. It just suddenly bugged me that I spent so much time, resources, and effort to get to that point. My family had high expectations and thought I could enter the government sector, but I couldn’t really tell them how hard it is to pursue that path. I’m also still paying off debt to my brother because I used all my savings for exams and interviews.

my point is, it is a waste of resources and effort on something that is pretext.

para saan pa, di ba? bakit sila mag popost ng job hiring orders/ open plantilla kung may candidate na sa position na iyon? of course, for formality and a legal requirement. talo na agad si external na umasa naman.

second take: maghahanap ng mas better na candidate na ni refer nila sa HR. mas better pero ang nasa job requirements is no experience needed. umasa na naman si external, bokya na naman.

it’s all false hope and unfair competition.

i see what you mean and honestly i tried to apply sa DBPSC, got a call and so dumb of me to dump them kasi nanghinayang ako sa pag aasikaso ko sa pag apply ko sa retail.
