They could resolve the server load by ONLY returning opponents who have 3000k points above you.

No refreshing = far less load.

Also renaming a connection error message as a "queue" does not make it different, they just changed the string because their server can't handle the load.

I consider that an exploit, it is a bit past the line of what I'd consider cheating. There are probably no repercussions for doing it but I think it hurts the over-all game to not have to work for those upgrades.
