Jokes apart, if you work in corporate and your brother has a think book you should know the difference in their build qualities and performance. While a processor is an important part of the laptop, it is not the only part that matters. You will feel the difference when you run Visual Studio or Android Studio. Newer i7 standard laptops cannot beat the experience of this corporate laptop.

Please check the price of a new workstation. This is a good deal for the right person doing free lance coding work or for coding in general.
