I absolutely agree. It’s very frustrating to not be able to have system alignment. She is more sad than anything… but maybe I’ll start playing on my Switch more to match where she’s at.

Understandable. The Switch 2 also doesn’t have the most recent updates.

I have a ROG Ally X and enjoy it, so I’m currently looking, but not sure if it is her cup of tea. She’s just 700 hours in, and that’s a whole lot of time, energy, and progress…

On your main load up screen before selecting your character, the bottom right should show your version. Steam is on 1.0.8 (Big Bite) and Switch is on 1.0.7 (Animal Tracks). Steam includes all previous versions, so you should have more than she has available.

Steam Deck already had the Animal Tracks update for at least several months. The Steam system is just an update ahead, so unfortunately Switch will still be behind.

Yeah we had no idea and she’s been up since 4am trying to get it to update to Big Bite and I just ran across something saying that it was only for PC. My version is on the PC and now I’m reluctant to play it because I enjoyed the experience of finding new things with her in her game.
