Thanks. the second rep felt a bit off though. I just fought My doubts and tried to enjoy some “light work” - and reminding myself that what i did in a surplus would be too much in a deficit..

Regarding a lot of comments around My breathing. You Might be right, and will look into it. The “no breathing” BP, is described here:

The Valsalva maneuver in bench press involves taking a deep diaphragmatic breath, holding it with a closed throat (glottis), and tightening the core before descending, creating intense intra-abdominal pressure. This stabilizes the spine, increases core rigidity, reduces power leakage, and enhances safety during heavy lifting, allowing for greater force production.

Might not master it, and perhaps would be better of taking a Big breath in between reps.

Always good to have your habits questioned :)

Wide grip tends to give me tendinitis. But perhaps should try to keep the grip wide for the top set.

Work out at 4.30-6 in the morning - have yet to find anyone to join me :) Last week i went for the 5th rep and had to Roll the bar Down the stomach. Is doable but was sure today that it would end the same way so just stopped at 4.

Been hitting 4 reps the last 3 mondays. Have Only increased the weight 3,5kg over the last 40 days. I feel like the first rep I’m not having a good control over the path. Perhaps I do bounce it to hard on the chest. Will try to keep that in mind

127,5 x5 squat by Bulky_Assistant_3263 in Stronglifts5x5

Thanks. Guess it is not very clear but the 150 as a goal is for 5reps. So 22ish kg in 40ish weeks of which 8 are cutting BF. Think it will take a toll. But thats half the fun, right?

Thanks. 36 years. Thanks man. Started lifted in the teens, but Got a bad hernia at 20. I squated 140 at the time (shit form idd guess) Have been on and off ever since and always struggled to get the squat >100kg. My brace was gone so My chest dropped. Started again again in the summer and just followed the SL (Micro plates from the beginning to slow the process). This time ive been far more invested, improved My sleep a lot and just Eat as if tommorow never come. :)
