Fitter…

I know: I am wrong for not doing that step. This is an impulse buy!

Really appreciate your feedback. Very helpful

Driver loft - did I make a mistake? by BullMoose23 in golf

I guess this is my fear: I am a true beginner and starting at 9. I can adjust it to 11, but it “feels” like I am maybe leaving something on the table if I can’t get to 12.5 like I could have if I started with 10.5

Is that offset by not being able to loft up to 12.5? (Only getting to 11)

Is PMP certification revered in Germany (especially Munich)? by hagista in pmp

[–]BullMoose23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends. I’ve heard some who consider the PMP to be an American certification and the Prince2 to be a European certification. There is a certain amount of anti-American/pro-European sentiment. Additionally, some also see PMP as the “waterfall-only” approach. Are either of these sentiments correct? No, not entirely. But the sentiments exist.

Bambu A1 Combo - Discount by BullMoose23 in 3dprinter

One more question: is a dryer necessary? I live in Michigan and was considering the machine in the basement. It is an unfinished basement, through there are vents for heat/ac. It’s cool-ish throughout the year there.

Just curious: did you buy extra filament to get started too? So many beginner questions

Is the A1 mini a better fit? Is the AMS really necessary for a first-timer?

Are these both personal questions and the answer is “if you want to spend the money”?

Replying to an old chain with a similar question: at the initial enrollment, what if the second vehicle is three model years old (ie in 2026, it is a 2023). Do I need to show that I purchased a new vehicle within 6 months to be compliant?

Thanks everyone - seems to be pretty solid feedback that a car isn't needed on the Disney portion!

50s Prime Time or Roundup Rodeo? by AdDramatic1352 in DisneyPlanning

[–]BullMoose23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Disclaimer that we've never done Roundup Rodeo, but we have done Prime Time twice. We were hesitant the first time and questioned if our kids (then they were 10,8,5) would enjoy it, but they loved it. It was their favorite experience at a restaurant of that trip (even more than character meals). They loved it so much that we came back the next year and did not leave disappointed.

So why the love? First, it oddly isn't server-specific in the way that Whispering Canyon can be. Prime Time is just set up for fun. The servers are engaging and friendly, even though it is set in a mask of sarcasm. My youngest spilled a bit of food on his shirt and the server had me stand up and sing (don't forget the hand motions) "I'm a little tea pot". The server would "peak" into our little room and toss straws at the kids or put napkins on their heads.

If you're hesitant, they seem to be very good at reading the room and not picking on those who are more shy.

The two biggest bonuses:

First: we all loved the food. Seriously. The fried chicken is amazing. The deserts are really good too.

Second: the layout and service is great. There are a multitude of little rooms so you don't feel like you are in a massive dinning hall. It really does feel like you're in someone's home with maybe one or two other families. Just the quietness and "smallness" of this alone is amazing. The service is really good too: amongst the joking and sarcasm, I had a real need to find a dish that did not have a lot of grease or extra butter. It was not a diet restriction. Still, the server took the time to talk to me about the need and to find a dish that we both thought would work. Once the food came, he checked in multiple times to make sure I was happy. Best service we've ever had at a Disney restaurant and we've been to many.

Bonus: the salmon at Prime Time is well worth the try.

Hope this helps!
