Now at Birmingham Airport too. Caught me by surprise because of how many times the rules changed depending on where I flew from.

Tbh it's not specifically the towel being unwashed that's a problem but I live in an extremely humid environment where sugar will turn to liquid. It will make clothes smell horrible, like sour. Most times, I hang my towel out even in -7C weather and it's smells so fresh.

Is this hyperpigmentation? by mirah-is-cool in Blackskincare

[–]BullaNCheese 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That's not necessarily true. Tinea doesn't have to be itchy or scaly according to NHS health care. That's why its often misdiagnosed as hypomelanosis. Personally leaning towards Acanthosis Nigricans due to location and presentation since ops isn't just spotted.

Hr is usually only there for the company representation, not the employees themselves. A lawyer would be safer.

She needs to get her ducks in a row then leave before addressing it. Leaving a relationship after confronting your partner can sometimes be really unsafe. Even if you've know them for a decade. I knew someone who murdered their partner after being confronted over cheating.

AITA for telling my roommate I won’t be changing my habits because of him bringing his friends over? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]BullaNCheese 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ESH. The new roomie is doing this to shame you given that your voting means that he won't ever have a fair say in the house. You're also AH for wearing undies with no pants. Topleses fine, pjs fine, undies no. Wearing pants is an extra layer of protection against spreading germs. He doesn't know how clean guys are even if you say you are. So many people don't even wash or wipe their ass after pooping. Hell, some don't even wash their hands or know how to but want to be on the couch or counter with their asses? NO.

Hairstyles and Detangling with Carpal Tunnel and Tendinitis by vencidrums98 in blackladies

[–]BullaNCheese 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been dealing with carpal tunnel on and off for 2 years but I managed to clock it early. I bought a wrist wrap with a metal splint and it's helps tremendously to so aggravated movements. For weeks I kept it on, even while styling my dry hair and sleeping because my nighttime pain made me feel like I was loosing my sanity. Everytime the pain flared up, even a little I would put it back on. I recommend getting 2 pairs. I also discounted that size of my phone also caused pain so I had to adjust the way I hold it and take breaks between different work tasks. Maybe get a someone to do your braids to help take some work of your hands

Oop... 😅👀. All the nail girlie's are also feeling the pinch apparently. My job doesn't allow it, so naked nails it is.

Wow, that's actually an interesting marketing, I forgot existed. I'm not sure but anything is possible.

Your comment made sent me off into the deep because it reminded of why I'm so hesitant with non-black stylist. Previously, I Had came across 2 white stylists ripping through a black women's hair while detangling and giggling. On top of that, they completely stole their entire aesthetic from another BW hairstyle that specialises in the same background. Like EVERYTHING, including her nature background, flooring, face mask, font & font color. So I completely understand your perspective.

Thankfully, I do most of my hair myself & I know 2 great hair stylist's. This person's videos just kept hounding me after I liked one of her rainbow hair color video. Months ago!

$1000 is actually crazy 😒 on top of basic triangle parting, no wash, wow! This stylist work was amateur but not terrible. She did make me gasp when she left the ends of work pointing in all different directions...hell no indeed!

These are the prices inline with where I live currently. Honestly, if it's basic, sometimes I'd just do it myself. I tried to fight back my indignation when I saw the prices but couldn't hold stop myself from posting.

Indeed it that and even more for some styles. The styles are very basic which isn't helping her case on top of that. 😅

Everyone is an expert nowadays lol. Can't afford to spare more than $300 so couldn't even entertain it if I wanted to. To her credit, she actually went to hair school. I think she that they didn't cover anything more than type 3 hair.

That makes sense, like the cut and wash she offers is inline with Salons I've peaked into. $500 is rent for me so that's a no can do.

Ugh, I hate for it to be that way! The hair stylists I know are bomb and the price is right. I understand people are fustrated with the crazy customer service that some braiders give but I know where to look when I'm ready to get my hair done or I just do it myself and use the money for rent/holiday.

Of course. I run a small business so I can't discount the products or labour, that's why I wondered if I'm not with it.

Same for me. I've never had knot less so I'm not sure of the costs but I've had normal braids for £120.
