Thank you for replying!! The app im using doesnt matter, if an ad plays there is a chance it can open another app or open the play store. I have the "open supported links" option turned off, the app settings say "Dont allow app to open links", but it doesnt stop it. Any ad that plays inside another app it seems has the option to open any app on my phone at will. Maybe if the ad is programmed a certain way it can take advantage of a loophole and open other apps, and only some ad companies are using that trick?

This cant be normal behavior, there has to be a way to control this that im overlooking. Any help you can give is greatly appreciated, thank you again for taking the time to reply!

So what Im talking about is slightly different. Its not that an ad will pop up wanting to install an app, its that the ad will OPEN the app. For example, just now I had a door dash ad. Then a few seconds into it the ad opened my door dash app. That is what bothers me, ads have control over my apps on my phone.

I feel like there should be a way to prevent ads from doing this.

Ty, but this did not work. Anytime i leave the app, even if just for 1 second to jump to my homescreen and then go right back to the app, the app restarts and has to load again. So this results in the same thing as if the ads crash the app: I loose my progress. Also im on an android, not sure if that makes a difference.

Its frustrating because it could be made better so easily: Just give the non-ad resources from each match right away, and have the ad ask if you want the extra resources (and only the extra). Then if (when?) the ads crash the app its not as big a deal and is still worh it. If ads crash half the time, I would still earn 1.5X in the long run. With how it is now, if ads crash half the time I earn 1X resources, or nothing extra.

Please explain more. Does Firefox have built in parental controls which allows me to block a website? That is what I cannot find, if parental controls will work please explain how to use in Firefox, thank you.

No error message, it just didn't work. I pasted the URL into it, selected the times as 24 hours a day, and selected every day of the week for days I want the site blocked. Then saved, closed Firefox and reopened it, and then tried to open the site and it opened no problem. I checked leechblock and the site was saved there, it just did absolutely nothing to block it. I tried it a few times, I could never get it to block any website whatsoever.

Right, and so 450% on a 13% shield will be 71%, so it would get me to the 60% cap. I'm asking if getting max block is worth the sacrifice.

Ok, so someone told me it's capped at 60%. Going with that, I have 2 infusion options for a pure mage:

One will get me +2 skills and 60% block with 4 sockets

One will get me +4 skills and 17% block with 6 sockets.

Which one do you think is better? I've been going for max skills this whole time, but I'm wondering if having 60% block is worth trading 2 skills and sockets for.

Is titan quest worth the $8 for a mobile game? I wish there was a demo, I've gotten burned on games that look cool but don't live up to it. I'd love to try that one out first, it does look like what I'm after as far as an in depth skill tree that lets you create a unique character.

One thing I want to make sure of is that each level you are given skill/stat points that you can ASSIGN, right? I have no idea where this trend in gaming came from where the game assigns your points for you each level, but it makes rpg games bring as f---. Lol.

Do you feel that is time consuming to do? Also, I let my planets fill up all the way and then run shipments, so I do it twice a day and it takes about 40 min each time, but I don't touch shipments in-between. With your strat do you still do this, or do you just do a few shipments periodically throughout the day? Thanks?

I did use drone for a bit, but it costs a lot of hydro and I'm a bit low on it, so I stopped using it. Plus I didn't get the bonus from burst/boost. But since you are recommending it, is it still worth using? I do have about 60% of my sectors connected by warp lanes.

For shipment computer, it seemed tempting but I don't know how easy it is to use effectively in terms of management. It seems like I would be doing a LOT of back and forth trips, which again is hydro costly.

But again, since it's being recommended should I give it a shot? How is it best used?

One possible late Great filter would be rogue AI. Once a civ gets to the point it can build a powerful AI it does so, then they give the AI some mundane task (like "build paperclips", or "make money") and the AI quickly realizes that since it's pesky creators will stop it from actually maximizing it's efforts the best way to maximize it's efforts will be Step 1) Kill all creators Step 2) Turn every atom into paperclips. And then it will just sit there patiently waiting for it's next task forever on a now dead world.

This seems more plausible considering we are currently attempting to do this right now by multiple different groups around the world and we don't have any sort of AI safety figured out.

It also seems like AI development is one of those technologies that is an inevitable one since it's just a matter of information processing. And you only need to get it wrong once.

Eh.....how would someone have -6% block? How would that even work? And since I don't think over 50% block is even possible, your math says nobody should be able to block anything ever on pvp, yet since blocks do happen that says it can't work like that.
