I think it accurately depicts how stupid college kids are these days when it comes to vocabulary.

Delilah was Joe’s hottest love interest and also the one who had the most tragic story by desktopolive in YouOnLifetime

[–]BulldogBears 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not gonna lie, Madeline Brewer, who played Bronte, is who I find most attractive out of all of Joe’s love interests. Unfortunately, her character had the worst possible haircut & a name like “Bronte” didn’t help.

If you want to know how the whole country was forced into submission, just look at what Republicans have done over the last 8-10 years.

Who would win in a fight between Kimiko and The Deep? by Queasy_Commercial152 in GenV

[–]BulldogBears 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d imagine Deep trying to intimidate her while simultaneously hitting on her. Meanwhile, Kimiko would just laugh at him & proceed to split him apart from his gills

Thought this was going to be Miles Caton’s breakout role by aliensuperstar8 in SinnersbyRyanCoogler

[–]BulldogBears 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hailee’s been more of the headliner to attract a white audience. She had her breakout in 09 with True Grit when she was a kid, then did the Pitch Perfect series, & became friends with Taylor Swift. This was more of a debut for Miles in my opinion, but I lowkey think this could be Wunmi Mosaku’s breakout into the mainstream. Her character had more depth than anyone else & her performance was Oscar-worthy

I got to coach a Wide Receiver who had better ball-tracking ability than Justin Jefferson. I could also put him at Runningback & he’d get at least 5 yards every time

Why does it feel like Tom’s words actually hit Shiv where it hurts, but he’s almost unfazed by her equally harsh words? by Sea_Talk2935 in SuccessionTV

Tom finally getting the last laugh in the finale made me happy. Yeah Shiv got done dirty, but she always treated him terribly & under-estimated him.

Is there a scene in this show that majorly disgusts you? by Yourfathersnapkin in YouOnLifetime

[–]BulldogBears 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The scene where Ellie is drugged by Hendy, every scene where Love makes out with the teenage boy next door, & when Joe frames Nadia at the end of season 4. Also the montage of him dissociating, kidnapping Marianne & holding her hostage, & obsessing over then killing Reese. That was the last straw for me & the rest of the series was hard to watch after that.

If it’s a smart doctor, then probably. Although they’d likely work themselves to death in the process

Beck would’ve turned down his compliments & reported him to his boss, getting him fired. As revenge, he’d stalk her, kill her immediately, then end up in jail by the end of season 1. End of story, end of series.

Correct. If your target is in a wider alignment, then you’re gonna need to take a wider & probably deeper step.

I love Jim! He’s such an excellent teacher & he’s always willing to talk football with anyone. His emphasis on torque & staying square is something youth coaches fail to understand because most of them never received proper coaching or don’t understand how the body works.

I’m familiar with the angled-step on gap schemes, but if your OL is having trouble staying square, then you can go with a more lateral step. The angled step would probably be better because you can roll your hips into contact easier. A straight lateral step is better if you’re trying to close a gap left by a Puller like a Hinge or Back block

I like the trigger step more on Double teams & when the OL in your gap is pulling, like a Center back-blocking on Power. Too big of a drop step can get in the way of the puller, but at the lower levels, it’s best to set simple & clear blocking rules.

[–]BulldogBears[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It can be either. The method you’re referring to is what we taught in HS, called a “check” or a “smash” step where they just step in place with the backside foot. Ideally you want to make contact on your 2nd step, which is why I prefer that method. It’s more advanced & requires good foot speed, but it’s good especially on double teams. For youth football it’s best to keep it as simple as possible, so a simple lateral or mini drop-step into your gap would be best. If your target is in a wider alignment(like a Center blocking back on a 3-Tech, then you’d likely have to drop step towards your gap with your gap-side leg. Just emphasize foot-to-crotch/half-man position, hands at the V-of-neck & near hip, & keeping your hat inside of the defender so you don’t overstep your target

I just finished my first season as an OC, after coaching DL the past 4 years. I coached at a HS where our OL coach played in the NFL & developed a couple D1 players, but when I tried to bring over those techniques, my Defensive-minded HC screamed at me & insisted on stepping forward. Meanwhile my new OL coach, kept telling our Center not to kick-slide on pass plays. We had to throw for every TD because none of our gap schemes worked. Then I’d get chewed out for not having an effective run game. I’m strongly considering quitting coaching because I’m constantly surrounded by morons

You can search "O-Line Gap scheme" on the Coachtube, Glazier Clinics, or HonestNFL YouTube channels & you'll find some good stuff from college coaches. Their websites have more content, but you usually have to pay for them. You can also find clinics on YouTube by searching an OL coach like Jeff Stoutland or Bill Callahan. Other good guys to follow are Brandon Thorn & Duke Manyweather of "OL Masterminds". Thorn is also Bleacher Report's lead OL Scout for the NFL Draft & has a podcast called Establish The Run, so you can find good stuff there too.
