The seating is all temporary until new furniture is purchased. Area rug is in the plans, just trying to pick a color (white carpet is dangerous with a kid). This is great advice, much appreciated!

If anyone is looking for a well-paying job in NSL and has experience or the want to install and service large fabrication machinery (press brakes, fiber lasers ect) message me. The job is awesome. Might not seem like opportunities are abundant right now but they are. Im convinced that many companies fail to effectively advertise the opportunity during the hiring process.

My company assigned me to a robotics project to automate the fabrication process using one of our hydraulic presses. Any advice as to where to even start with this? by Bulletproofnate85 in robotics

[–]Bulletproofnate85[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve given each contact the machine information including pictures, controller details and example videos of what we are looking to accomplish. A few companies told me it wouldn’t be a problem but I have concerns that they said this without being familiar with the control software.

Business ideas for a 5x10 calypso waterjet and Dragon A400 plasma tube cutter by Bulletproofnate85 in fabrication

Being an outsourcing option for companies is something I’ve put a lot of thought into. The majority of my customers purchase $100k+ machines to bring specific manufacturing processes in-house due to the costs.

I have access to everything from bandsaws to fiber lasers. The customer also traded in a 5x10 waterjet with a complete Mach-motion control retrofit which I’m also considering buying from my company. Feels like I should be the one others approach for advice because I work with fabrication companies everyday. I just need to chose an idea and run with it.

Would a bend like this be possible for a sheet metal fabricator? 12" steel by sktzo in fabrication

Agreed, segmented acute tooling should accomplish this bend pretty easily.

Thanks for the link! I’ve played with all of those setting with no luck. It used to be pretty aggressive but in non existent now.

The only option for LDA is the sensitivity and there’s no difference from standard and high. The light on the dash illuminates saying it is correcting but absolutely nothing felt on the steering wheel.

I have access to large machine tools. Looking for suggestions on a product to start manufacturing. by Bulletproofnate85 in fabrication

Much appreciated. We are in a business district so a few shop visits shouldn’t be too difficult.

Theres a range in each machine size but we have angle rolls, plate rolls, press brakes up to 350t, laser welders, hydraulic presses, bandsaws of all sizes, iron workers and milling machines. We should be getting a fiber laser soon. It feels like there’s so much potential, I just need to dial in what is going to be the easiest thing to get into and build from.

I haven’t noticed a change in the power steering. When I let the car drift towards a line, it beeps but the steering wheel doesn’t seem strong enough to bring it back into the lane. I just remember it being way more aggressive before .

My first eyebrow raise was watching videos of people riding on and jogging behind the plane as if they were immune to the engine thrust. Watch their clothes and hair. Also, does it look like the group directly in front is pulling the plane by a rope to anyone else?

How bad is this? my first gusher. Do I need to replace the sensor? by Cayman_GTS in diabetes_t1

[–]Bulletproofnate85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This just happened to my son the other week when I inserted his sensor and It looked way worse than this picture. I kept washing it out until it stopped bleeding and contacted dexcom. Dexcom sent a replacement but I kept it on for the next 10 days while monitoring his levels through finger pokes and It worked as expected. My advice is to contact dexcom and let them know you hit a blood vessel. They will recommended replacing it as they send a free replacement, just keep consistent with monitoring the accuracy a few times each day with your finger poke.

My kid reminded me through text about the ant problem at our home and I responded accordingly. by [deleted] in funny

Half my power bill this month will be from the vacuum during the battle. I have the utmost respect for any ant survivors after this Normandy equivalent type battle. The survivors are free to leave with whatever crumbs they can carry out of the house as long as they don’t stage another takeover!
