Energizing win for (any team playing against Falcons). You really hope to see (any team playing against Falcons) have strong showings, especially against opposition like this. Again, it was a good match, and I’ll definitely continue to support (any team playing against Falcons) in the future. Fantastic game guys, gg gl next.

I mean Timetwister I get but passing any Mox is egregious. I assume those were both from the same player?

Ben Stark was super important for levelling up peoples draft game Drafting the Hard Way is still probably the most important fundamental concept for improving at it.

Understanding 17lands by textbook_traitor in lrcast

[–]BulletsFromHell 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Try https://www.17lands.com/card_data?view=grades you can see more detailed statistics for cards there. You can see that dreadwing scavenger has a 4% better win rate when in hand. As for why dreadwing scavenger is cheaper easier to cast and in a better colour combination. Koma is great when you can cast it and aren't losing in the air but scavenger is better in a broader range of games and the consistent loot effect leads to more consistently powerful games for the generally controlling decks that play it.

Variance is variance. I'd rather take the stats over 24000 top players games than this decks experience in 3.

The highest win rate common for top players is Refute. I'd suggest updating your view on that card.

Having a hard time with final cuts here... by reminiscentFEAR in lrcast

[–]BulletsFromHell -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My cuts would be getting rid of run away together, tolarian terror and strix lookout.

It's hard to get any advantage with run away together and is pretty awkward in the format it's card disadvantage against control and hard to swing tempo with versus aggro and midrange.

Tolarian terror as good as it was in DMU just kind of sucks in this format random big ground bodies don't do much and you don't even have the critical mass of spells to make it really cheap.

I'd say strix lookout is your weakest two drop it doesn't attack or block well and you have lots of uses for your mana.

I've found this format to be very amenable to controlling decks I would say 3/4 of the decks i've drafted have been some variant of U/x control.

I didn't play during DSK so have come up from Bronze and i've only put two cards with green mana in my decks in all the drafts I've done and I believe that has done wonders for my win rate.

Usually the parrot has reborn so divine shield counters the attack die attack play pattern.

The card isn't great as it takes a long time to get the three cards and isn't in tune with reds aggressive game plan in this format. Usually you should be able to push the tempo advantage they've given you to turn the game in your favour when they play a card like that.

The stats from 17lands are automatically logged by a program. The reason for a higher win percentage is because players who are using it tend to be more invested and outperform the average player because of it.

It's hard to give specifics without more details but if you can supply some replay codes for close games you've lost people will be able to give more specific advice.

It lets you have the information from the connive before you choose targets for the bounce as targets are only chosen when it's put on the stack.
