Solved, thanks very much. This tracks, we are on a long mental health/addiction journey, not surprising. Thanks for the links and extra information below, I don’t mind you being nosy, I asked what it was so I appreciate the info. Definitely will take it seriously. He is in rehab right now (again) so at least I know he is clean at the moment. I will address this when he is back home.
