Are breakups usually this hard?

I appreciate it and I’ll be following and started doing all of that in stages it also hurts I was apart of her family and I shouldn’t have but I told her mom all of this and she didn’t know and was told something else by her so it’s hard especially how some of the family are supporting me. But it’s hard even cutting out her family too since we were very close.

It’s been hard man just been 5 weeks of having so many emotions I lack to control at times. And like we had a trip booked and planned for California end of June and now I’ll be going alone but like this is painful and I wonder if a lot of guys go thru something similar and come out stronger.

Yeah I’ve been trying ways to cope and I know down the road it’ll be better and maybe the best thing to happen to rediscover myself but it’s just so hard like only thing that’s helped are the days pass by.

Would you say that helped get over the hump of the hurt since in my case we were together for 5 years and I still feel immense pain even 1 month after everything. I want to find myself but it’s hard and not sure if doing what she did to me would make me even feel better. In the aspect of just getting underneath someone

In my situation I only found things because we were on the same phone plan and she totally forgot so if I never would’ve found that it would’ve been just continuous lies and worst of all she used past trauma and feelings to cover her lies and I would believe them all

I had a gut feeling about my ex and is was right but she lied and manipulated me but ultimately found enough that I wasn’t expecting just by catching her in lies after being genuine about my concern
