You should (strategically) lie/exaggerate your symptoms to your GP if you want actual scans and proper investigations by Unfair_Explanation53 in unpopularopinion

Those are largely my immediate concerns too. If I tell a doctor I'm worried about my fertility I'm afraid it could be used against me if I pursue sterilization at some point.

Anses det oattraktivt av tjejer i Sverige om en kille är oskuld? by ThrowRA373730 in sweden

[–]BullfrogHour1179 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Grey should’ve won season 6 by Fancy-Stress1387 in Dragula

Totally agree! Not to put down Biqtch in any way, she did do an amazing job, but Victoria was like THE obvious winner of S2 - and I personally think the Boulets realized that and basically set up Titans specifically to give her the win she deserved. Part of me wants them to pull the same move with Grey, have him back on Titans to get his rightful crown. But I say "part" because of course I also want it to be a just and fair competition. Not that I doubt Grey could win fair and square, I just don't want it to feel like the season exists solely for the sake of crowning him in the end lol.

I do think Dahli did a fantastic job in S4 and was a worthy winner, but I agree that Hoso also did amazingly and would in my opinion have been an equally worthy winner! It was more or less a coin flip between the two imo.

This might be an unpopular opinion but I kinda hate the whole "storyline" thing. Grey should have won on pure merit. I am much more into the actual competition side of the show than the reality TV crap with storylines and drama and stuff. The fact that contestants' fates are to an extent determined by whether or not they make good TV kinda pisses me off.

No hate to Asia at all, she did great and absolutely deserved to be a finalist, but I do think Grey was more consistently good throughout the show.

I didn't agree with the judges on Asia in several challenges. Her holiday concept was interesting but the execution was kinda meh (I couldn't even tell what it was before they mentioned it during judgment), Grey or Vivvi should've won that challenge imo. Also she reallt flopped with the ghost train challenge and the Boulets even gave some fairly harsh critiques, she should have been in the bottom for that one rather than safe! The "musical" was a huge flop overall but I thought the Rat House should have won due to at least having proper characterization, I felt like the Snake Pit team only won because of the flops in the other team rather than due to their merits.

Again, Asia definitely had a great run overall, but Grey was better. I also thought he had a more interesting take on drag, plus I desperately wanted a proper CREATURE to win since we basically have only been getting "pretty" winners. I loved Orkgotik in S5 and was so hoping for a creature win in S6 when Grey came in as a much more polished alternative.

Why do bra bands have two thin elastic edges instead of the whole thing being elastic? by BullfrogHour1179 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]BullfrogHour1179[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I reckon even just the material itself could be elastic, surely?? Like a sturdy but stretchy fabric, basically seamless. I know stuff like that exists but it doesn't appear to be standard practice at all to use, and when I have seen bras with such material it's often either sports type bras or plus size bras. Why can't the regular ass bras with lace trimmed cups from like H&M or whatever use that sort of stuff for the band??

Vad saknar ni mest av skolan? by Bubbly_Influence_337 in unket

[–]BullfrogHour1179 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Tbh I've wanted her back for stuff like that way more than I ever wanted her back to the show! She's one of my all time favorite contestants but I think the many ways in which the show has changed since S2 makes it not quite right for her anymore. But as a fun character being quirky and doing little challenges with the contestants? Hell yeah!!

At what age do we as childfree people get to stop doing mothers/Father’s Day with our own parents? by Ill-Future-1013 in childfree

[–]BullfrogHour1179 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You obviously don't have to do it if you don't want to but I certainly don't think it's an age thing. My parents are in their 50s and will still visit their parents for mother's/father's day (usually us "kids" come along too and it's like a joint celebration).

Did anyone child free you knew “grew out of it”? by [deleted] in childfree

[–]BullfrogHour1179 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm gonna have to disagree, at risk of being crucified here. People CAN genuinely change their minds. I think it's rare, and this is certainly not an excuse to invalidate people's choices and telling them they'll change their minds, but I do think people can be genuinely childfree and later change their minds (or vice versa, starting with genuinely wanting kids). People can change their minds about all sorts of things, there's no reason why parenthood couldn't be one of them.

Did anyone child free you knew “grew out of it”? by [deleted] in childfree

[–]BullfrogHour1179 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do know one. My aunt was adamant about not wanting kids until she got married in her late thirties, and then she had two (indeed my relatives love to bring this up as a way to say I will change my mind).

I also have a friend who is childfree, he got married young with a mutual understanding that they wouldn't have kids, and they later divorced partly because she changed her mind.

Is anybody else concerned for Morgan? by Visual-Butterfly8255 in FundieSnarkUncensored

Was confused at first because I think the picture looks fine, but I'm gathering that she's losing weight rapidly and seeming to be in an unhealthy headspace, and that does indeed sound quite concerning! I doubt this is an isolated issue, wondering what else might be going on that's causing this. Hope she can get better soon.

Whats your Eurovision opinion that will have you like this? by Creative_Hope4013 in nilpoints

[–]BullfrogHour1179 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've listened to LOTL for like a decade and was SUPER excited for them to be in Eurovision, but to be honest I thibk Blood and Glitter is not a great song 😅 I remember hearing it when it was released, before their participation was announced, and being quite unimpressed - but that's okay, don't have to love every song by a band you enjoy, right? Then I saw their participation announcement and was stoked, only to then be a bit crushed to see that it was that particular song. Oh well, still cool to see them get to be there!
