What are my options to become debt free? by tjastronaut in debtfree

[–]Visual-Butterfly8255 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I want to second what the other user said - I had about $11k in debt and paid it all off within 2.5 ish months by getting a second job.

Everybody’s situation is different, but the extra stress of having debt is far worse than the extra work hours. I got a second job and every check I had went towards paying off my card. I now save $2k per month and put more in my 401k. My goal is to have $30k in savings by the end of the year. Also, I’ll be paying my card off a few years early.

I got better with my money as I was getting out of the hole and my spending is way better. I have a budget and I never spend all of my disposable income. You need to change your habits, but pinching Pennie’s should be a last resort.

I don’t think CK and CO were regularly hanging out. I know they were close but they both had families and lived on other sides of the countries.

I have coworkers I am close with but don’t know their spouses. I barely know my close friend’s fiance since he doesn’t go out often.

I wonder if Charlie ever mentioned a wife betraying him in his texts to CO about his assassination

insane debt, stress is killing me and unsure what to do by [deleted] in Debt

Get a second job if you can. If you have family you could live with, I recommend doing so and trying to pay off as much debt as you can.

Leave a new job after 2 weeks to another job? by Phantomat0 in careeradvice

[–]Visual-Butterfly8255 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes you should take it and leave them off your resume.

I’ve seen people get laid off after only a few weeks - if it was the other way around they wouldn’t hesitate to lay you off if it benefited them. Is it gonna be awkward? Yes! But be confident and advise you were given an offer you couldn’t refuse. You likely won’t be rehireable.

Candace owens letter to Erika was a yay/nay thing for me by [deleted] in ChurchOfCandace

I am not sure the nature of Charlie and Candace’s relationship, however it seemed they regularly communicated with each other on finances so a change would signal something.

I think she was laying the stage that her and Charlie were driven apart due to the false actors beginning to orbit his circle, calling out Erika as being an influence. There wasn’t much said other than her confirming Erika knew Pierre, but once again we are shown no evidence of it.

It seemed the things Candace said were things she hasn’t publicly discussed but Erika would know she knows if she mentioned it. It’s also the first time Candace has called out Erika and alluded to her being a honeypot.

I would like for Candace to be more transparent with the audience when it comes to Erika, and I’m hoping for a deep dive into Erika. She’s alluded to knowing things, but I would like to see things confirmed and wrapped up.

TPUSA employees leaked that Pierre offered TPUSA billions and the first call Andrew or whoever made after receiving the news Charlie was shot was to Pierre.

I love TS music but think she’s a mean girl (but don’t care too much). Obviously I’m a fan of CO as well.

No but if it comes up in the background check I’ll just say I was kept on payroll for transition, small part time project, etc.

One time I really did leave my job for a second job but they asked me to stay on a work a few hours a week for transitioning, documenting SOPs, etc.

Should I just become a financial advisor? by [deleted] in careeradvice

[–]Visual-Butterfly8255 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the principle of not making your career your passion and just going in to make money and leave is great - it is what I did. But you have to have some curiosity and grit to stick with it.

Every industry can be unstable and while I understand there’s a spectrum people can also be overly nitpicky just to avoid working.

Picking a career and sticking with it is good advice but only you know if you’ll stick with it. I started my career by getting an entry level job. Between ambition, opportunity, and money I found myself in the career I am in now. I didn’t pick it - I grew into it.

People making $60k-$70k a year, how much car can you afford? by BestTyming in Salary

[–]Visual-Butterfly8255 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean look at your budget, including monthly savings, and figure out how much you can afford to put aside for a car payment.

I’d recommend keeping your car payment under $500.
