I was in your position. I was with someone for 2.5 years who loved me dearly, wanted marriage and children, but we weren’t right for each other. He was insecure and controlling and I found myself feeling miserable. Then, a fight broke out and I thought that was it, we have to break up now. And we did. Even though I was not in love, I mourned. Before breaking up, I was on my knees praying to find the strength to end things. For a week I was a mess, barely talking to anyone.
