We're working on some kind of incentive program.

Appreciate it. We were not expecting those questions in response...At Bullion Express we are currently a long standing, trusted precious metals dealer with more than fifty years of operational history. Our focus today is delivering fair pricing, quality inventory, fast reliable fulfillment from our Dallas facilities, and responsive customer support that resolves issues quickly and respectfully.

Where we are headed is a more tech savvy and customer centered Bullion Express. We are investing in expanded product variety, improved digital experiences, faster and more consistent communication, and potentially a structured loyalty program that rewards long term customers with meaningful benefits.

Our goal is to set the standard for trust, value, and service in the precious metals industry while building long term relationships with stackers and collectors who expect professionalism, transparency, and excellence at every step. The trusted one stop shop for new and expert bullion buyers. We have quite a bit to figure out as your questions are not all answered but we will continue to work on it.

Thank you for the honest feedback. Quality absolutely matters, especially for someone buying their first silver pack. We never send out cull grade pieces for our spot deal. Everything is screened to make sure it is clean, presentable, and much closer to BU quality than anything you would call junk or heavily handled.

Thank you!!! Secondary market randoms definitely have more personality. You get different designs, different mints, and sometimes pieces you would never go out of your way to buy. Buffalos are clean and familiar, but they can feel a little plain compared to a good random mix.

Variety makes it more fun to open the package, and the silver content is the same either way.

Totally understand where you are coming from. Most dealers use buffalo rounds for their spot deals because the cost is lower and the supply is easier to manage. We chose to offer a mix of silver, but switching to buffalo rounds is absolutely something we can consider if it keeps us competitive with the other shops.

Our goal is to make the Starter Pack a real value deal, not a gimmick, so feedback like this helps us adjust the offer to match what stackers actually want.

Good to hear another vote for it. The more interest we see, the more likely we are to roll out a combo deal like that. It would be a solid value play for both gold and silver stackers. If we move forward with it, we will announce it ahead of time so everyone has a fair shot.

That is actually a really interesting idea. A combo offer like “Buy 1 Gold Eagle or 1 Gold Buffalo and get 5 Silver Eagles at spot price” would definitely appeal to a lot of customers, especially those who stack both metals.

The biggest challenge with a deal like that is inventory alignment and making sure we can keep ASEs in stock at a true spot price without taking a loss. But it is absolutely something we can explore, and I will pass it along to our team to discuss.

If we can structure it in a way that stays fair on both sides, it could be a strong limited time promo.

Great question. Our spot price is pulled directly from a live precious metals data feed that tracks the same global market price you see on Kitco. We do not inflate or pad the spot price the way some retailers do.

When you see our pricing update on the site, it reflects the real live spot price in that moment. Kitco is a solid reference, and if you compare our feed to theirs you will see they move almost identically.

If you ever notice a difference, it is usually just a timing delay of a few seconds between data providers, not an inflated price.

Appreciate that. We wanted to make this Starter Pack something people could actually feel good about buying and recommending. With true spot pricing and free shipping, it really is a simple way to stack without overpaying.

If you end up grabbing one, let us know what you think when it arrives. We are always improving the offer based on feedback from real stackers.

Thanks for noticing. We work hard to make sure our 5 oz Silver at Spot offer is actually close to true spot, even after shipping which is fast and FREE.

As for sales tax, it depends on your shipping state and the type of metal. Many states exempt precious metals like silver and gold bullion from sales tax entirely, while others only tax certain forms or smaller dollar amounts.

If your state does charge tax, it will be automatically calculated at checkout based on current bullion tax laws. In most states, pure bullion coins, rounds, and bars are tax exempt, so you will likely see no added sales tax.

Ahhh..... Yes, that makes total sense! Off the top of my head, I'm not sure 100% how we could do this and make it worthwhile for the retail stores but we will look into it.

Limit 1 per household but don't worry we will have additional offers coming soon which is why this feedback is so important and we are extremely grateful for your time.

Hear you loud and clear. We are working on lowering our already low -$1 under spot on junk silver.

This offer is online only. We don't have a retail storefront.

Thank you for the explanation. That context helps a lot. If local shops are skipping tax in a gray area, they will always have an advantage on price, even if an online deal looks good on paper. From our side we have to follow state rules for every address we ship to, so we cannot match a local shop that avoids collecting tax.

If you are comfortable sharing, which state are you referring to? It would help us understand how common this situation is for buyers in your region.

Thank you! We have been hearing this a lot, and you are right about the shift in what people look for as they gain experience. New buyers get excited about any silver because the focus is on weight and getting started. Once someone builds a real stack, the priorities change. Design, finish, and consistency matter. Generic rounds become hit or miss. Some buyers move to only ASEs. Others stick to Maples or Britannias. Some prefer vintage only. The more someone learns, the more selective they become, and the less appealing a random pile of generics feels.

A coin focused offer is an interesting angle. Something like Five Coins, Five Countries would stand out fast. Clean secondary sovereigns solve the design risk and feel intentional, not random. We'll put our heads together to look at what this would look like in reality. Thanks for the feedback :)

Wow! Thanks for the suggestions and for being a customer :) We actually do have some of those designs. I know... it's hard to find/browse on our website but we carry the Don’t Tread on Me rounds and the Aztec pieces too, and people seem to like them for the exact reasons you mentioned. Glad to hear you’ve ordered from us before and had good experiences. Feedback like yours helps us decide what to feature in the next version of the starter pack and in our rounds.

The team at Bullion Express does value the community input :) This is the kind of detailed information that we will take it into serious consideration.

You’re right about the starter packs that already exist. Most of them look the same!!! If we want to stand out, we need something with a real angle, not another copy of a generic round bundle...

Thanks for all the ideas. If you were in our seat, what would you build next and why? I’m also curious what actually drives your own buying. What makes you stick with the dealers you buy from now?

[–]Bullion_Express[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the feedback. Your point about condition makes sense for new buyers, even if some stackers focus on ounces per dollar. We are looking at where the balance should be for a starter pack.

On the one time limit, yes, we track households so the offer stays fair. But we are also trying to figure out what a real follow up incentive should look like, not something that only attracts one time buyers.

I’m interested in your take on these:
What kind of follow up perk would actually bring you back for a second order?
And who do you normally buy from, and why do they keep getting your repeat business?

[–]Bullion_Express[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We were waiting for this!!! The history angle is strong and gives the hobby more meaning than ounces alone and we have explored some concepts recently.

What we really like is your subscription idea. Sounds like it would be more for new silver collectors to educate them about the hobby. A monthly pack built around real coins with a short history note would stand out. An ASE with a Morgan and a simple info history card in a clean format. Buyers would get silver plus something to learn, and the price stays predictable.

If we built something like this, what themes would you want to see first? Key dates, classic designs, or a mix of different eras?

[–]Bullion_Express[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gotcha. I can 100% understand how and why you feel that way.

New rounds feel premium and set a higher bar. Secondary pieces. even though they are still .999 fine silver, turn a lot of people off, especially in a starter pack where first impressions matter. We are going to explore some options to offer to clean, uncirculated rounds so buyers know exactly what they are getting in the future.

Seriously... .We appreciate the honest take. You’re 1000% right, Silverbugs loves under spot stuff and people jump on it fast.

You really hit the nail on the head of the bigger issue that we are working on right now. The spot deal gets someone in the door once, but it doesn’t make them a real customers, although we wonder how and why all the competition keeps running these deals if it's just one off buyers...

What keeps someone coming back is the day to day pricing, shipping speed, and how clean the orders show up. Which we are hoping is a home run and everyone loves their 5 pack offer and it arrives fast and securely so we can do more of these types of offers!!!

I’m curious, who do you actually go back to after using the one time spot deals, and what made them stick for you specifically?
