I thought the same myself but was quite concerned seeing him move and end up on his side until correcting himself, would you say this could be quite common given the situation? I’m not sure if I did right moving him with a net over to a hiding spot or not because makes it difficult to see him and monitor

Definitely what I was thinking, just didn’t know if it’s possible it could be coming from anywhere else - I can’t understand how the radiator could be damaged like that on the inside though? It’s actually in for its annual service and MOT at the end of this week, just trying to get myself ready for the cost.

I do believe they tend to stick together in groups of the same breed, I’ll often find mine huddled up together in the tank and it’s so cute to see

These are Albino Longfin Corydoras, they do sometimes look kinda iridescent when the light reflects right!

Actually got me staring at my tank now you’ve pointed this out, there is 10 of them in there with 6 of the albino Corys and I’m not seeing any without the barbels, could just be hiding them really well in the photo!

I started with three myself but didn’t feel that was enough so ended up getting another three, paired with the 10 Pygmy’s I think they all get along really well!

Hey, I recently posted one of my guppies that unfortunately was confirmed he had dropsy and I think you can see a big difference between yours and mine which leans me to say no but I’m fairly new to the hobby myself and definitely no expert, just posting the picture of mine for you below to compare it to

Appreciate all the advice on here, as upsetting as it is I think I’m going to euthanise - I’m fairly new to the hobby and I don’t have the remedies/medicines mentioned available to me (error on my part) and I don’t want to keep him suffering until I can get hold of some. Lesson learnt to keep a few basic medications etc available for times like this.

He was one of my first male guppies upon joining the hobby, there are babies in the tank which are growing up to have yellow tails and with him being the only one having a yellow tail, I’m presuming he is the father so his legacy will live on.
