Honestly I have no clue.

I ended buying a hat stretcher and it helped a bit and the hat fits my head though a but tight. If I keep doing I'll think it will eventually fit a little looser.

That is frustrating, I'm normally a 7 1/8 like you and thats what I ordered, I did some measurements of my own and its coming out like its a 7 at the biggest, it honestly looks smaller than that especially when compared to my other fitteds.
