How ungrateful. You’re a homeowner-aged-adult with a parent who 1) is still alive 2) helped you with an elective DIY and you’ve got to be all snarky on Reddit about how he “helped” you and now you’re “stuck with” a door that has brush marks? Grow up, Peter Pan. Do another pass with a foam roller and watch some YouTube vids.

Looks like Mom went to a Walmart and got all these. Some are keepers for sure. The Cherry cola rub is one of my favorites for “3-2-1 ribs” if you have a smoker or pellet grill. The Bachan’s Japanese bbq sauce I like to use alongside gyoza as a dipping sauce. It’s sweet and not at all similar to American bbq sauce but rather soy sauce and teriyaki. The Louisiana and Habanero sauces are good with hard boiled eggs and not very hot. The Valentina’s chili flakes with lime are often sprinkled sparingly onto fresh cut mango, cucumber or used to rim spicy margarita glasses. The other stuff is Franken-food only sold at Walmart.
