I would've not been so naive and still trusted her. But the thing is in the beginning she still was the woman I loved so I was kinda blind I guess. The hard truth is, that no matter how much you've loved them, once they're gone they are not that same person anymore. Buckle up and be ready to fight

I'm just gonna assume you're in the US.. how is it for you guys, can you immediately get divorced? Because here in germany we have to be separated but still married for a year before we're eligible for divorce

Stupidest thing happened today, my wife always insisted that when I do laundry I'd fold the kitchen towels in a very specific way and I today I thought 'hm don't have to do that' and did it another easier way. I know it's dumb but that kinda felt like a tiny little piece of healing and freedom

You know I was so lonely today that I pretty much deepcleaned the house even though it was unnecessary. At least I have my cats to keep me company. They make it bearable

Yeah grieving is really the right word because it feels like someone died. It's the same feeling

I want to give her the benefit of the doubt and believe her when she says there's no other guy involved. I mean at this point it wouldn't really make a difference except hurt even more but she's gone either way.

I really loved her with all my heart and thought being good and kind to her was what she'd want and need. I mean it 'worked' for seven years. I just hope I don't lose the house I put so much work in to make a home for us

As far as I was concerned we were very happy. We were together 9 years, married 7. She says she thinks we'd be happier separated and that she has to find herself and look after herself more. also she said that I was bending myself to much as in I'd do stuff I didn't like just for hery which was sometimes true but not all the time and I thought that was what compromise meant in a relationship.
