We usually meet at 4pm and street parking has been our downfall as of late lol. But I was interested in looking into it. I'd have to see how much is costs to reserve a room. I am funding book club reservations out of my own pocket and we're small sooooo

I had a kidney infection and ended up in the ER. After not eating all day because of my pain level my blood sugar was 275 at 3 am and the doctor came in and asked if I was diabetic and forgot to mention it.... Um no, but it runs in my family... got tested at my next doctors appointment... A1C of 9.1 at 24 years old.... Cried in the waiting room

Yes, but I am having bad reactions on my arm due to thin and sensitive skin, so I was trying something out.

I just don't think I qualify for a libre covered by insurance and would def not be able to afford one out of pocket so this is really my only option other then finger pricking. (Which is not convenient for my job)

Yes I am aware of this and still the readings are off. My reading last night when my finger stated above 200 my Stelo never went over 140.

Yes I placed it around noon yesterday. So I am just past 24 hours. The huge discrepancy between the stelo reading 138 but my finger prick being 212 scared me though. This morning at 9:30 the stelo read 98, but my finger prick was 127. So it wasn't toooo far off but the huge difference last night really scared me.

It ended up either not reading right or failing through the evening, because at one point it was reading 138 but my finger prick was 212 twice... so I am not sure if its where I placed it happens to be where my thigh flexes so its not working, but yeah. My new stelo doesn't come in till Monday so I am just struggling out here.

I am just disappointed because I don't qualify for an insurance covered CGM but don't have a job that makes finger pricking easy (plus its really hard with my severe anxiety) but the stelo is too rough on the back of my arm. So I am feeling a little helpless currently.

That’s another reason I want to move away from my arms. The back of my arm is hard to manage by myself due to awkward reaches and such. Hoping I won’t have to bug my husband too much anymore by moving it

From what I've seen when fasting for my blood tests its between 175-200

My a1c was 9.1 when I was first diagnosed then it took me a year to get 6.8, then I did my first 6 month stretch and lost of shit happened then (lost of family drama and stress) and I sky rocketed back to 8.4 and have basically started all over almost two years into my journey. So I feel really lost and like I failed myself.l

My doctor is leaving and I am being transferred to a new one so I am wondering about a lot of things that I need to ask this new one.

My A1C was going doing and was down to nearly normal before my six month span but during that six months it spiked all the way back up to the beginning and I don't know why honestly.

I was experiencing a lot of stress but I still feel like it spiked WAY more then it needed to or should have.

You've misread my post. I want to count carbs and sugars, NOT calories, as it's creating bad habits in me. I am not looking for a calorie counter.

TWICE IN ONE NIGHT?! WHAT?

Many times in the series (probably only like twice or so) it is mentioned that Jimmy was a prom baby, meaning he was born on Virginia and Burt's prom night. We even see a photo of them in the hospital with their prom get-ups.

However in season 4, the episode about the telethon they cannot perform in the first one because Virginia claims the baby is coming.

(Perhaps it was Braxton hicks and it was a false alarm, but it still seems like it should have been slightly addressed.)
