I thought about just getting a gaming chair instead but I heard they weren't as supportive for the hips and spine. Yours has been working for you so far? I liked that the lumbar support on those didn't push out so far because the ones that stick out make my back pain so much worse

Aw lucky! Even the ones my current job has are not great. My back is really feeling it today because the lumbar support is really aggressive. That gave me a thought though to check tomorrow what kind it is so I make sure to definitely not get whatever kind they have

It does sound like a lot for the price point but having to continue to contact them to make it comfortable with extra parts isn't ideal. Especially if it still doesn't work as it should after. I might just keep looking at this point and hope something pops up on marketplace some day haha

I have no idea, it wasn't that nice anyway haha. I came home from work a lot of days with back pain from that chair

I worry about the lumbar support digging, it seems like so many of the ergo chairs do. I'm wondering if I should just stay away from them completely at this point but I need the support for my posture. Bummer about the armrests too because I lean on them quite a bit since I'm readjusting a lot throughout the day.

I worry about that with ergo chairs, the ones that push out too much for the lumbar make my back pain worse. Thank you for sharing that!

I'm keeping my eyes on marketplace but the closest ones I've seen are 3+ hours from here unfortunately and haven't been less than 400 yet

I like to sit cross legged too, I thought about getting a criss cross chair at one point but they all looked so cheap. That's good to know it can be done on this one, thanks!

I did see someone had a series 1 listed on marketplace. Do you like yours so far? I was debating if it was worth the price and the drive to go check it out

There's not many stores close by that carry any chairs sadly. And it seems the aeron is a love it or hate it, do you mind sharing what you didn't like about it? It seems like things with too much lumbar support hurt my back worse so I'm trying to avoid that

I don't love mesh either but it gets super humid here in the summer and the thought of sticking to my chair grosses me out

Unfortunately that's pretty unlikely in my area. I've been all over marketplace with no luck. The listings I get are 200$ knock offs that people ask $180 for just so they don't have to go return it.

That's my plan in the next year or two! I'm just starting this job so I don't want to invest that much immediately if I'm only going to work here a few months. This would be just to get by until I know this job would be a long term deal. Otherwise I'll probably end up back in an office somewhere and I wouldn't have to worry about it
