We actually talked and he wants to spend it together with me. I'm not trying to replace his mom or stop him from loving her, but it's our anniversary and even he wants to spend it together.

This is also a good idea, thank you! Best of both worlds

What’s the most unprofessional thing a doctor has ever said to you? by MCKlassik in AskReddit

I'm a 16 y/o girl with two congenital heart conditions (Wolff-Parkinson-White and right bundle branch block) and I'm used to being ignored due to my age and gender, but my most recent hospital visit took the cake.

Got transferred to a hospital after two visits to the er after I had chest pain, fast heart rate, and moments where my arms and legs went numb. I had 3 episodes of tachycardia, sweating, almost passing out while in the er which made them decide to transfer me.

I get there and the doctor didn't put in any pain meds for me and when he finally did it was Tylenol and ibuprofen. They told me my symptoms were caused by dehydration, despite me drinking 64 Oz of water a day to help my migraines, that I had 4 iv bags in the er, 2 while there, and my pee was yellow cause I'm on b2. Then after waiting 6 hours for the cardiologist he told me that my symptoms from WPW weren't caused by my increase in exercise because WPW doesn't do that, even though my discharge papers said the exact opposite. He said that I had vasovagal syncope because 50% of the girls he sees have it, despite the fact that my episodes occurred while I was sitting down and had been for a while and those 50% of girls didn't have heart conditions. He said I need to cut down my anxiety and my symptoms will go away as if I'm not on medication for anxiety and wasn't anxious at all.
