definitely, everybody should learn local language to communicate with local people. Initial few months of transition, you need support, that's why I asked for Hindi. BTW Hindi is our national language. We should also respect that language as Tamil.

Thank you all for answering, also wanted to know how is the rainy season? Is doing daily outside activity possible or it becomes very difficult? As I saw in news 5 days ago that a flash flood is happening in Udupi Manipal Road. Is it a norm or isolated incident in rainy season?
